What a walk looks like with us
Before the first walk
A 30-minute meet-and-greet at your home. We meet your dog, learn their quirks, check the pickup. No exceptions.
Every walk
Maximum four dogs. GPS-tracked route. Post-walk photo and health note. Gait changes, skin issues, anxiety — anything a vet nurse would notice.
Your walker
DBS-checked. Trained by Sarah for four weeks minimum. First-aid certified. Full public liability and pet care insurance on every walk.
Seven years inveterinary nursing. Then a differentkind of care.
Sarah Mitchell spent seven years in the NHS as a veterinary nurse. She didn't love seeing dogs arrive with problems that could have been caught earlier — during a walk, not a crisis.
In 2024 she left to start Paws & Paths. The idea: bring clinical observation to everyday walking. Notice the slight limp. Spot the weight change. Know the difference between tired and unwell.
She still walks dogs every day. She trains every walker personally. The standard doesn't change when the team grows.

Four ways we care
Daily walking
30 or 60-minute group walks. Post-walk photo and health note. For professionals who need reliable daily care.
Puppy foundations
4-week socialisation programme. Groups of 2–3 puppies. Building confidence from 12 weeks. Led by Sarah.
Solo walks
One walker, one dog. For reactive, elderly, or recovering dogs who need undivided attention.
Elderly care
Shorter, slower walks. Arthritis-aware. Adjusted for mobility. The gentleness your dog has earned.
In their words, not ours
“Sarah spotted that our Lab was favouring his back leg. We took him to the vet that evening — partial cruciate tear. Caught early because she actually pays attention.”
“We tried two other walkers. One cancelled constantly, the other took eight dogs at once. Sarah takes four. You can tell the difference.”
“I get a photo and a little note after every walk. It sounds small but it completely changed how I feel about leaving Nell at home.”
“My mum can't walk Baxter like she used to. Sarah's team is gentle with him. Worth every penny for the peace of mind.”
Four postcodes.That's it.
